Troy Schuh is our accomplished music director and accompanist and composer of an extensive library of age appropriate songs for la-de-da.
He has been teaching piano lessons in Northern Colorado since 1998 and started his private studio in 1999.
At the age of six, Troy had his first piano lesson. He has been playing consistently ever since. Troy served as his church’s organist during his high school years and regularly accompanied his high school choir. Graduating from high school in 1993, he moved to Colorado the following spring to study music at the University of Northern Colorado. He graduated from UNC in 1998 with a Bachelor’s of Music Degree in Piano Performance. During his time in college, in addition to studying the standard common-practice-period piano repertoire, Troy engaged in his love of Jazz music and performed with several of the UNC lab bands and small combo ensembles.
